Such an option does not exist but you can change speed by editing slideshowSpeed inside modules.js file http://screencast.com/t/62ODISmfyGTe and then you have to minify the file with some tool https://jscompress.com/ and to save it as modules.min.js

This is theme feature and it's not a bug, so we can not add that in the update. Many users use default speed and update would make difference to their websites. You could save this reply and do that same thing after update.

Is there a way to adjust the speed of post carousel? Seems very fast / jittery.
