1. It is default styling and enabling top / bottom border will override default borders, so you need to enable that option and to set color in RGBA format with transparency like this rgba(255, 255, 255, 0) http://screencast.com/t/iQIgPsXqsC
2. Send us a link to your page so we can see what is the current setup, maybe border is caused by dark background behind.
3. You have to use larger images. Although, images probably can be stretched with some custom css code, but they will become bury because of that. Anyway if you want that approach, please send us a link to a page with issue so we can try to generate that code.
4. It is default theme color, and most dominate one. In order to set different one, you can do so by setting first main color http://screencast.com/t/soDewuc7xOo4
5. Check which logos have you set from Elated options > Logo. For example if header background is white and you logo is white also then it will melt with the background.
In case that your site is in maintenance mode, also send us WordPress admin access in a PRIVATE REPLY since this is public ticket.
